I got to witness a friend giving up some unnecessary guilt today. It was powerful to see (my HWN today) him realize he wasn’t in responsible for a very negative experience that happened to him several years ago. There are many things in life we need to take accountability for; however, we definitely don’t need to feel responsible for how others use their agency! And I think part of what the atonement can do for us is help us understand what we are and aren’t responsible for :)
