I heard HWN today as I watched this bible video this morning about the apostle Thomas. Thomas said he would believe Christ had returned after he saw Him.

After Christ showed himself to Thomas, he taught:

“Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” (John 20:29)

There are so many things to hope for and believe in without having seen them. For me, some of them are: Christ, God, heaven, eternal life, and my future wife and family. I often want to see the end from the beginning, to know that the things I hope for will be. Sometimes, I am shown some of what this will be like through spiritual confirmations of my faith. These are the things I rely on until I do in fact see with my own eyes the things I hope for :)
