Moroni 7:46 stirred me this morning:

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all…”

From the next verse, we know that “charity is the pure love of Christ” and this is the charity which never fails — not the love the we try to show to others, rather the love Christ perfectly shows for us! And this perfect love is epitomized in His atoning sacrifice for us.
