Near the end of their war with the Lamanites, the Nephites “were grieved and also filled with fear” that they might be destroyed. Therefore, they “did pour out [their] souls in prayer to God, that he would strengthen [them] and deliver [them],” and He “did grant unto [them] great faith, and did cause [them] that [they] should hope for [their] deliverance in him,” and they “did go forth with all their might” to take back their city. (Alma 58:9-13)
I’m impressed with the change in the Nephites within these few verses! They went from worrying about their own safety to confidently going into battle. I know such changes are possible for us too!
