Single’s Success

Success as a single person = no longer being single… right?  Wrong!!!  I want to challenge this oxymoronic belief that I developed somewhere in my life.  Stay with me here… if success as a single person is “not being single,” a single individual can never be successful.  Thus, holding on to the belief would doom me to unmet expectations, frustration, insecurity, and despair.  Being in a relationship won’t make me successful, and if I’m unhappy now, it won’t make me happy.

I heard heaven’s white noise today through a reminder to find happiness in the present.

p.s. I also heard HWN through enjoying beautiful music — clips below are from my home teachee’s flute choir concert tonight :)
