I sat down on the bus and realized I left my keys in the office… Should I risk the dash back? Or risk getting to Provo with no one to bring my spare? I gambled for the first… and missed the last bus.  However, I helped solve a last-minute problem for a client, and my supervisor kindly gave me a ride :)

I’m not big on assigning meaning to things like this (I forgot my keys because I needed to miss the bus to help this client, and an alternate way home was provided). I don’t think the result was the cause for my misfortune and forgetfulness; rather, my forgetfulness and misfortune allowed for the opportunity to serve and be served :)
