In the end of the movie, Mr. Peabody says to Sherman for the first time: “I love you.” He appeared to finally understand the meaning of these words :) I hope it doesn’t take me several near death experiences, nearly losing a child to CPS (a.k.a. Ms. Grunion), and almost destroying the space-time continuum to realize that!
