I woke up to snow this morning, made it to the station to catch the 7:20 AM train, and found that it was cancelled… I checked out the traffic on google maps, and found that to drive would take ~1 hour 35 minutes (an hour longer than normal :/ ). On top of that, I was nervous about driving in rush hour traffic under current conditions, and I was feeling a little under the weather. All things considered, I decided to stay home. My HWN today was the fact that I’m able to use sick time to take a break and recover —  a great blessing today! I also noticed in my leave history that this was only my second sick day of the year (knock on wood!), another blessing!
