While discussing work ethic during home teaching today, my roommate Dallin pointed out an insightful thought. When Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden, our Heavenly Father stated “cursed is the ground for thy sake…In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat” (Genesis 3:17-19). Truly it was of benefit for Adam and Eve, and consequently us, to live in an environment where work is essential. This helps us progress to become more like God.

I heard HWN today as Dallin’s comment caused me to reflect.
