Greatest Happiness Possbile

Today I was praying and pondering about some of my goals, and how to reach them. I heard HWN today in an answer from the October 2015 general conference. President Monson taught:

God’s commandments are not given to frustrate us or to become obstacles to our happiness. Just the opposite is true. He who created us and who loves us perfectly knows just how we need to live our lives in order to obtain the greatest happiness possible. He has provided us with guidelines which, if we follow them, will see us safely through this often treacherous mortal journey. (Keep the Commandments)

I’m grateful for my trust in the Lord, and knowing the He can help me reach my goals!

On another note, here’s a great quote from a friend named Rachel who I met today. In our discussion of how to become more genuine and passionate, she said one key is to:

“Love the things more that you love!”

Great point, right? How often do we take the time to “love the things that we love?”

p.s. I forgot to mention a first for me last night — someone recognized me from my blog! “Hey, I know you from somewhere… do you have a blog?” That was kind of fun :)
