I watched The Butler tonight as part of a black-history month movie marathon. Although it’s apparently pretty liberal in historical accuracy, it’s a powerful story, and it presents a part of U.S. history many people don’t like to look at. The movie reminded me how minor so many of my problems are and how grateful I am for my blessings and rights. I heard HWN tonight while reflecting on my life in the context of some hard realities of our world.
